A minimum of 12' x 4' (W x D) will give the DJ ample space
to setup his equipment and to stand between the speaker and
music rack. If your dance floor is wider than 12', please plan
on the DJ taking up most of width to separate his speakers.
For optimal sound and access to the dance floor for emceeing
the events, FirstDance.com recommends the DJ be setup with his
back to a wall and next to the dance floor. No stage or riser
are required.
FirstDance.com also strongly recommends that no tables and/or
seated guests be placed between the DJ speakers and the dance
floor.
Only one (1) 110v, 15-amp (20-amp preferred) electrical outlet
is needed.
